Global Chatham House Future Consensus Institute Forum 2016 was held in Seoul from October 8 to October 11.  The conference was co-hosted by The JoongAng Ilbo, J. Global・Chatham House　and Yeosijae Future Consensus Institute. 

The main participants from Japan were Mr. Taro Aso, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr. Yosimasa Hayashi, Former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and Mr. Tatsuo Hatta, President of Asian Growth Research Institute.  Tokuda, Executive Director of JEPA, the Forum, on behalf of Chairman Shimoji, by the invitation from the organizer.   

In the closed session, discussion was carried out about the construction of the economic community through Eurasia cooperation plan and the cooperation between cities.The conference was advanced along with following rule of UK-based think tank, known as Chatham House Rule;

"When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed".

Mr. Riichiro Hanawa, Town Mayor of Yorii-machi, Saitama Pref., attended at the signing ceremony in Bhutan and signed a sealing book to decide Yorii-machi as the host town of Bhutan at the Tokyo Olympics Paralympics in 2020.
